This year I think Ill grow my own white blood cells!
I had one last shot of Neupogen tonight to kick start my white blood cells; the rest is up to me now. That’s a total of 50 home injections over the past 8 months, no more dartboard belly! That's a great start to my year!
Im not very good at getting back at people I guess.. lol I sent you an email back- sorry for the delay! Im glad you're done with chemo.. I waited about 2 months after chemo before going away! I didn't take any meds- I just saw my doctor beforehand and had him give a quick looksy over- and he gave me the ok. Just know that if you go to a warm tropical place in the winter time- your immune system gets a shocker either way from the temperature change! I lather myself in essential oils my hippi massage therapist friend gives me- and eat tons of crazy immune drinks from whole foods =) I would suggest some sort of acai berry drink- bc thats the best cancer fighter/immune boosting berry!
